Perris, Riverside County
Lake Perris, completed in 1973, is the last reservoir on the California Aqueduct, which carries water here from the northern part of the state. The lake is ringed by rocky hills and has swimming beaches, boat ramps and campgrounds. Perris is also known for skydiving: the drop zone at its small airport is one of the busiest in the country.
